Luna was an important roman colony deduced in the 177 b.C. and crossed from Aurelia street (Aemilia Scauri street) from 109 b.C.. 
Famous above all for the marble ""lunense"". Inside the old walls have been found various monuments (theatre, Foro Capitolium, Christian church), rich private houses.
